Titans Commuter Options
If you are attending Thursday’s Tennessee Titans game vs. the Indianapolis Colts, there are a number of great parking and commuter options. Parking is only $10 in the Metro Courthouse Garage located just across the Woodland Street Bridge from the stadium. Our interactive downtown parking map provides information on Titans game-day rates, and the Music City Star is an option.

5th Avenue of the Arts Holiday Mixer

LOCATION: TINNEY CONTEMPORARY, THE ARTS COMPANY, AND THE RYMER GALLERY FREE

Join the holiday fun in Dashing Downtown Deals spirit with the 5th Avenue of the Arts Holiday Mixer. Enjoy the artwork and company at each gallery, and take advantage of a corresponding 10% discount at the Frist Center Gift Shop later in the evening. Those attending the mixer may receive a Frist Center discount coupon at the galleries, which is valid for the evening of Thursday, December 9 only. The Frist Center is open until 9 pm.

Football at the Hall: Titans Tailgate and Game Screening with Shawn Camp
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 9, 5 PM
LOCATION: COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM $15

Enjoy complimentary food, beer, and soft drinks at the ultimate tailgate party before the Tennessee Titans vs. Indiana Colts home game. There will be pre-game and half-time performances by Shawn Camp. At kickoff, head to the game or enjoy a screening in the luxury of the Ford Theater on a 16-foot HD screen. Holiday Sunshine Party

“Rise and Shine with Urban Sun” is a program that spotlights a local non-profit each month. Stop by to learn more about The 18th Avenue Family Enrichment Center. Help this organization bring the holiday spirit to over 500 local families by bringing a new, unwrapped toy for ages 2 - 12. There will be refreshments from The Turnip Truck, Urban Sun’s signature Santaritas, and live music by Sharif Iman. Parking validation is available.

Nashville Ballet presents The Nutcracker

Nashville Ballet presents the classic tale of Clara and her magical Nutcracker. Set during the Tennessee Centennial, this production brings exciting new visual elements to the Nashville rendition of the classic holiday tradition. The Nashville Symphony will perform at every show.

A Visit with Santa Claus
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11, 10 AM - 1 PM
LOCATION: COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM FREE

Children are invited to meet Santa and have a photograph taken with him and Mrs. Claus. Participation requires a timed voucher, which will be distributed beginning at 9 am the morning of the visit.

3rd Annual Crema Christmas
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12, 12 PM - 6 PM
LOCATION: CREMA, FINE COFFEE & ESPRESSO

This annual holiday event focuses on serving the Nashville homeless community. This year, local artisans have made homemade accessories such as scarves, hats and gloves, which will be available to purchase as a gift for a homeless individual. Those who purchase an item will also have the chance to write a holiday message to the recipient. Other items will also be for sale including paintings, photographs, jewelry and other handmade goods, with proceeds benefiting Safe Haven and People Loving Nashville.

A Celtic Christmas

Merry Tuba Christmas Nashville
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 11 AM, 12:30 PM
LOCATION: FIRST BAPTIST NASHVILLE FREE

A concert of Christmas carols featuring 100 tubas. The performances are approximately 45 minutes in length, and a collection will be taken for the benefit of Downtown Presbyterian Church’s Homeless Luncheons. Parking is free in the church lots.

Keys to Music City: A Ben Folds Benefit for the Nashville Symphony
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 8 PM

Ben Folds and the Nashville Symphony will perform “Keys to Music City”, a benefit for the orchestra and two local volunteer fire fighting organizations, the Williamson County Rescue Squad and Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department. Folds’ only appearance in the Nashville area this year, “Keys to Music City” will conclude his U.S. tour in support of Lonely Avenue, the highly anticipated collaboration between himself and eminent English novelist, Nick Hornby. Trailer City Jail’s Christmas Jamboree

Learn to Paint Workshop

A great artistic getaway in The Arcade, O Gallery’s workshops on the third Saturday of every month offer a creative outlet and learning opportunity for participants. The workshops are open to individuals, families, business groups, or parties. Those who severely doubt that they can paint are especially welcome. Family Program: Country Costume Design and the Williams Family Style

Explore the stage wear of the Williams family and learn the basics of costume design in this hands-on workshop. Participants examine the clothing on display in this featured exhibit before designing their own costume on paper using fabric swatches, glitter, sequins, ribbons, and fringe. Led by Katy K, nationally recognized western-wear designer and owner of the Nashville boutique Katy Ks Ranch Dressing.
